Tom Brady will find himself in unfamiliar waters very soon. The former NFL quarterback will be subject to the hostility of his celebrity friends in what is being dubbed as the Greatest Roast of all Time (GROAT). The Netflix comedy special starring the likes of Jeff Ross will bring out a different side of Brady.
The trailer for the same just dropped and Kevin Hart is expected to be leading the charge against Tom Brady. He will be the roast-master on this occasion. The special has been in the making for a long time. It was initially announced over a year ago and will finally premiere on the 5th of May at 8 PM ET on Netflix.
The 30-second trailer that was released shows Brady appearing prepared to have his ego shattered. As of now, the confirmed stars are Kevin Hart and Jeff Ross, both of whom have experience in roasting celebrities. The latter has been a part of the roasts of Alec Baldwin, Bruce Willis, Blake Griffin, amongst others.
Tom Brady’s unretirement and divorce are likely to be the roast focus
The quarterback will face the heat on subjects that have been controversial throughout his career. Topics such as his involvement in the deflategate scandal, his divorce from Gisele Bundchen, and his unretirement are likely to be capitalized upon the most by the roasting cast.
