International Friendlies: Netherlands vs Germany Player Ratings as an entertaining match ended in 1-1 draw

Netherlands vs Germany: Netherlands squared off against Germany at the Amsterdam Arena in a friendly

Germany was dominant from almost the beginning of the match and rightly so Thomas Müller was able to take the lead for Germany late in the 1st half. In the 2nd half, Germany were almost equally dominant, but the substitutions from the Dutch paid off and Steven Bergwijn was able to equalize soon after coming on. The Dutch did put a lo of pressure on the German defense since then, but could not get through. The match ended 1-1.

Mark Flekken (6/10): Netherlands goalkeeper though made a few saves tonight, had a bit of turbulent game. He was scored passed once by Germany.

Frenkie de Jong (6.7/10): The midfielder was by far the best player on the pitch making some good passes and interceptions to win ball and duels. He provided the pinpoint pre-assist for the goal.

Teun Koopmeiners (6.3/10): The midfielder had a good game tonight making some good passes and interceptions as well.

Steven Berghuis (6.1/10): The attacking midfielder could have done a bit more but anyway had a fairly satisfactory game making some runs and passes.

Tyrell Malacia (6.2/10): The left wing-back was good on the ball and carried the ball well and got into good areas.

Denzel Dumfries (6.7/10): The right wing-back was left behind for defensive duties and could not express his attacking prowes in the 1st half. However, he provided the assist for the goal.

Memphis Depay (6.3/10): The forward was fairly good on the ball and made some runs wih the ball as well, but he could not make anything happen.

Donyell Malen (6.3/10): The forward used his pace to get into good areas and run past defenders and made somme shots at the goal as well.

Substitutes:

Georginio Wijnaldum (5.7/10): He made some good passes and interceptions after coming on as a sub.

Davy Klaassen (5.2/10): He played a few good passes and made some runs after coming on as a sub.

Steven Bergwijn (7/10): He was absolutely brilliant tonight as he scored the equalizer after coming on as a sub. He also made a few good passes and runs.

Manuel Neuer (6.2/10): The veteran goalkeeper was not much disturbed tonight, but was scored passed once by the Dutch

Antonio Rüdiger (6.2/10): The centre-back was really solid tonight throughout but failed to defend the goal and was scored passed him.

Nico Schlotterbeck (6.3/10): The centre-back was fairly solid in the defense making blocks and tackles and making forward passes.

Thilo Kehrer (6.3/10): The centre-back was good on the ball tonight and carried the ball well apart from making tackles.

Thomas Müller (7.2/10): The attacking midfielder was on the scoresheet tonight as he scored the goal for Germany. He also played some good passes as well.

Ilkay Gündogan (6.3/10):  The midfielder played some good passes and progressions with the ball. He had a fairly decent performance.
