German tennis ace Alexander Zverev became the target of criticism as it was reported that he had settled his domestic violence case outside the court. Netizens accused Zverev of using money and power to get himself cleared of the case.

It all started when a Berlin-based journalist claimed that Zverev had settled his case with his ex-girlfriend Brenda Patea outside the court. The reporter also claimed that Zverev had not admitted to any charges pressed against him. This means that the tennis player is no longer accused in the domestic violence case.

While his fans celebrated his piece of news, quite a few tennis fans alleged that Zverev used money and power to get things aligned in his favor. X (formerly Twitter) was abuzz with posts criticizing the German tennis ace.

As it was revealed that Alexander Zverev agreed to a settlement that includes a monetary condition of €200,000 ($217,820), with the player not found guilty of any wrongdoing, netizens criticized the player for using money and power to his benefit.
