Denny Hamlin who sports the No.11 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing competing full-time as a Cup Series driver seems utterly displeased with how NASCAR chose to end this week’s much anticipated All-Star Race at the Texas Motor Speedway with a brand-new format.

The 41-year-old hailing from Florida has had a pretty up and down season so far as he managed to get into the top 5 only twice this season and has secured a victory at the Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond Raceway and his other outings spread across the grid and he stands 20th with 267 points on the table. His crew chief and members were suspended when his wheel came off at the pit road at Drydene 400 at Dover Motor Speedway.

Hamlin managed to stay up close behind the leader Ryan Blaney as he was then blocked by Blaney’s teammate Austin Cindric who managed to help him keep his lead also the last-minute caution forced the race into OT which triggered Hamlin about NASCAR being out of step with their rules.

Denny Hamlin seemed to have lost his cool when NASCAR chose to pull out the yellow flag indicating caution and forcing the All-Star Race into an OT, he tweeted after the race saying that the yellow flag was unnecessary and also called them out for that not changing the results leaving Ryan Blaney for the win.

“Never should have been yellow in the first place. They put Blaney in the situation he was in,” tweeted Denny Hamlin.

He concluded his tweet by saying that they let Blaney break the rule for removing his window net and that they made 2 more mistakes to correct an insignificant issue and congratulated Ryan Blaney for the win.

“To make up for it they let him break a rule. 2 wrongs don’t make a right. Blaney W, NASCAR L,” Denny Hamlin ended his tweet.

After today’s All-Star Race finish, it is pretty evident that Denny Hamlin is unhappy with how NASCAR is looking after the rightful implementation of its rules.
