Jade Cargill attacker revealed on SmackDown [via- WWE]
Back in November 2024, Jade Cargill suffered a brutal parking lot attack. The Storm was found laid out on a car windshield, with no signs of the attacker in sight. Unfortunately, the assault sidelined Cargill out of action indefinitely. This left her tag team partner, Bianca Belair, alone as she began looking for the culprit. After months of relentless investigation, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis seemingly found a major lead in this case.
During the latest episode of the show, Aldis showed footage to Belair and Naomi from the night the attack on Cargill took place. The clip showed Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez leaving the site of the attack while The Storm was stretchered out in an ambulance. Naomi and Belair were confident that the duo was behind the attack. However, Aldis advised the Women’s Tag Team Champions to remain calm as he’d speak with Raw GM Adam Pearce.
Cargill, alongside Belair and Naomi, had kickstarted a rivalry with Morgan and Rodriguez in the lead-up to Survivor Series. This eventually led to a WarGames match being set for the PLE, with all mentioned names announced to compete. However, the parking lot assault on Cargill led to significant changes being made.

Very lackluster reveal, honestly. #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/IvPCwyv0WI
Bayley replaced the former AEW star in the bout. Weeks later, Cargill had to drop her tag team title as Naomi took her place as one-half of the reigning champions with Belair. A few weeks ago, the tag champs lost a non-title match against Morgan and Rodriguez.
Following last night’s revelation, it seems that a rematch between the two teams is inevitable. Keeping that in mind, it will be interesting to see how Morgan and Rodriguez respond to the development in the Jade Cargill case.
Naomi breaks silence after Jade Cargill attacker footage revealed on SmackDown
For the past few months, Naomi had been accused by the online wrestling community as the mastermind behind Jade Cargill’s attack. Therefore, when the footage seemingly revealed someone else as the attackers, Naomi had a lot to say.

Taking to X, Naomi pleaded her innocence in the matter once again. The former Women’s Champion took a shot at the fans who alleged that she attacked her friend. While there is no confirmation of Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez being the culprits, Naomi believes she’s off the hook.

Another name heavily speculated among fans was Bianca Belair. Many felt that the EST had plotted to sideline Cargill from the picture. Regardless, The Storm herself might confront the attacker soon, as she’s already training for her in-ring return at the Performance Center.
