New Jets HC Aaron Glenn wants to change the “culture” in New York after team’s decision to move on from Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Glenn assumed the position of head coach for the New York Jets, taking over from Robert Saleh, who was fired mid-season last year.

The Buffalo Sabres in the National Hockey League were eliminated from playoff contention for the fourteenth year straight. The Sabres have joined the New York Jets with the longest active postseason drought in all of North American sports. Does it make it better? Nope, zilch, nada.
The New York Jets, long embroiled in inconsistency, are looking forward to a new chapter. In the offseason, the Jets hired Aaron Glenn from the Detroit Lions. They also decided to move forward from the four-time NFL MVP-winning quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wideout Davante Adams.
Aaron Glenn, who has served as the defensive coordinator in Detroit, played a pivotal role in their significant organizational transformation. Now, he looks to replicate that process with a Jets franchise that has not reached the playoffs since 2010.
During his time with the Lions, Glenn endured a demanding first season before helping guide the team to steady improvement. Under head coach Dan Campbell, Detroit achieved its first winning season in years and followed it up with two consecutive division titles. Glenn confessed that he believes a similar rebuild is possible in New York, but emphasizes that it must begin with foundational work.

He noted that turning around a struggling team starts with the right people, both on and off the field. Building a cohesive culture is, according to Glenn, the initial priority for the team’s offseason program. His plan is focused on fostering a new identity before introducing a scheme or competitive expectations.
Understand what phase one is really about. We’re trying to get bigger, faster, stronger, more explosive. That’s the only thing I want the players worrying about at that point.
Glenn said, via Brian Costello of the New York Post
Glenn stressed that discussions around schemes, Super Bowls, or playoff runs will come later in the process. With experience as both a player and coach on successful teams, Glenn should bring much-needed credibility and clarity to his leadership style.
Aaron Glenn might be the New York Jets’ last hope, suggests Dan Campbell
Dan Campbell, who has worked closely with Glenn for years, believes his former assistant has all the qualities needed to succeed. He emphasized Glenn’s leadership, character, and ability to attract the right personnel to support the rebuild.

As long as he’s got the support, A.G. will turn that thing around. There’s no question. He’s an unbelievable leader and he’s an even better person.
Campbell admitted in a Pro Football Article
Campbell further highlighted Glenn’s capacity to inspire those around him. He pointed out that the new New York Jets coach is known for his ability to bring the ‘best’ in people. He added that Aaron Glenn also knows how to rally the best team around him with good players who will help him achieve the postseason mark.
Campbell concluded with a firm vote of confidence: “Look, if he can’t, nobody can, that’s my opinion.”

For the Jets, whose recent history has been defined by instability, Glenn’s appointment signaled a renewed commitment to long-term development. Dan Campbell is not the lone personality who has backed up Aaron Glenn in the past few days.
Keyshawn Johnson praised Aaron Glenn’s attitude and approach towards the game. Similarly, Minnesota Vikings HC Kevin O’Connell also acknowledged Glenn’s addition and confessed the Jets would be a contender next season.
