WWE unveiled new designs for the Tag Team Championships on Raw. The new titles will be known as the World Tag Team Championships from now on, as they were given to Awesome Truth. However, it was also announced that a number-one contender match would take place right after the moment to determine the next challengers for the titles.

A triple-threat match between #DIY, Creed Brothers, and The New Day took place on Raw. The three teams gave their all to be the ones next in line to face The Miz and R-Truth. However, after an intense battle, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano met in the middle to pick up the win. It was a marquee bout that certainly elevated the tag title picture on Raw.

#DIY is on the way for a much-awaited push in WWE. Ever since their reunion last year, fans have been waiting for a title run on the main roster. Besides, Gargano and Ciampa were one of the best tag teams in the history of NXT. Therefore, having a chance at the World Tag Team Championships certainly hypes up the fans to see if this is the time to pull the trigger on them.

Furthermore, Awesome Truth has been on a roll lately. They have really been over among the fans, and their interactions with other stars even make them more interesting. Besides, their recent stint with Ciampa and Gargano has also been fun, which makes their match even more intriguing. Therefore, this makes their upcoming battle more unpredictable.

R-Truth misrecognizes Triple H as Tommaso Ciampa

This week’s Raw was full of surprises. From getting new tag titles to the announcement of Rhea Ripley vacating the Women’s World Championship, one gem of a segment was when R-Truth and Triple H shared the screen after years. It was a funny little segment that left the fans giggling over the comic sense of the Suntan Superman.

R-Truth misrecognized The Game as Tommaso Ciampa on Raw. It left the King of Kings stuck in a simulation of his identity, which certainly made the rounds all over the internet. Besides, the former United States Champion also expressed his amusement at the Cerebral Assassin using his magic to unveil the new tag titles. Although The Miz later tried to clear up the confusion of truth, his attempts were to no avail.

Furthermore, even Triple H looked quite exhilarated by the 52-year-old’s sense of humor. It won’t be an understatement that the reunion of the Awesome Truth has certainly revitalized the careers of both The Miz and Truth as well. Now, only time will tell how things are going to be for the two stars in WWE from here on out.
