Brazilian forward Neymar Jr. had a hilarious response to Al-Hilal teammate Ali Al-Bulaihi, who labelled him a ‘cheat’. It was a reference to the club’s recent training, ahead of their upcoming Saudi PL match against Al-Qadisiya.
Neymar Jr. most recently returned to training for Al-Hilal, after having remained out for most of the season due to injury issues. The 32-year-old has missed out due to a cruciate ligament tear, limiting his participation to just two matches this season. The Brazilian forward has not enjoyed the best of his time at the middle-eastern side, scoring once and assisting thrice in just seven appearances.
While in training, Neymar Jr. had an exhilarating session with his Al-Hilal teammates. Defender Ali Al-Bulaihi later, labelled the 32-year-old ex-PSG forward as a cheat for an ‘offside goal’. Bulaihi shared an image from the club’s training and accompanied it with the caption. Interestingly, the Brazilian responded by mocking his teammate, and urging him not to cry. Neymar also added that he is faster than him.
Nonetheless, the ex-Barcelona forward has been linked with a move back to his home country, Brazil. The 32-year-old is poised to rejoin his boyhood club Santos. Recent reports suggested that Al-Hilal and the Brazilian side have begun negotiations over a potential January transfer move. He enjoys a brilliant record at Santos, having scored 136 goals and provided 64 assists in 225 matches.

Therefore, it remains to be seen what lies ahead for the Brazilian football star. He is also hoping to make a return to the Brazilian national football team, ahead of the much-awaited 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.
FC Barcelona leaves door open for Neymar Jr.’s return to the club
Brazilian icon Neymar Jr. might return to FC Barcelona, after club sporting director Deco reportedly left the door open for a possible return. Deco was recently speaking on the Al-Hilal star’s future, in an interview with TNT Sports.
Neymar spent four seasons at the Catalan club, forging a brilliant relationship with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. He departed to join PSG for a record transfer fee, before moving to the Saudi PL. There has been some uncertainty regarding his future at Al-Hilal. Barca sporting director Deco recently stated that Neymar is welcome at any club in the world, also not ruling out a return to the Catalan club.
Apart from rumors associated with a return to Brazilian side Santos, Neymar Jr. has also been linked with a move to the MLS. Inter Miami could possibly grab the opportunity to reunite the iconic MSN trio.
