“Haven’t seen a player suffer more from injuries” – Fans react as Neymar Jr. suffers yet another injury upon making return from year-long absence

Neymar Jr. has had a heartbreaking history with injuries. The Brazilian was sidelined for more than a year after he tore his ACL in 2023 October while on International duty with Brazil. However, despite a prolonged and difficult recovery process, the 31-year-old was finally ready to make his return.
As Neymar took the pitch for just the second time for Al-Hilal, he was forced to come off with an injury. After being subbed on in the 58th minute for Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Neymar barely lasted 30 minutes on the pitch before he started clutching his right thigh with discomfort. He was subsequently taken off as cameras captured him frustrated and in anger.
After making his way to the bench, Neymar Jr. angrily threw his boot on the turf.
I've never seen a player suffer more injuries than Neymar, he's finished.

He also stated that he needed more minutes on the pitch and that doctors had already warned him about the possibility of the same.
Fans react to Neymar Jr.’s unfortunate injury
No high-profile player has suffered more from injuries than Neymar Jr. His time at Al-Hilal has been close to non-existent, with a fan commenting that it is becoming increasingly more difficult for him to keep playing. Another added that it’s a shame he’ll end his career without a Ballon d’Or, although he was most likely to win it after Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Clips on social media showed the moment of the injury as Neymar extended his leg in an attempt to chase down the ball inside the penalty box. Many called him ‘cursed’ and asked that he retire from professional football.
Some even called for Neymar to leave Al-Hilal and join Messi and Luis Suarez at Inter Miami. Here are some of the reactions:

This is very sad for Neymar.
He is just 33 or 34.

Can you blame the guy, should've still been in Europe as the best player but injuries completely ruined his peak years.

With reports that the player has purchased a piece of waterfront land in Miami, rumors of Neymar to the MLS has only picked up pace. As things stand, Al-Hilal are top of both the Saudi Pro League and the AFC Champions League. With just seven games played for Al-Hilal, Neymar has already won three trophies while on the sidelines with injury!
