NFL players have a tendency to do crazy things off the field. We have witnessed things ranging from the likes of “Whizzinator” to the throwing of the Lombardi Trophy from a boat in an ocean. However, people tend to forget these incidents but not the ones where you get called out on Twitter for DMing an adult actor.

Even though it has been around 8 years, former Bills WR Duke Williams is still remembered for the time when he was ousted by Mia Khalifa for trying to slide into her DM.

Former adult actor Mia Khalifa on a podcast with Lance Armstrong mentioned that several NFL players have tried to talk to her through social media. The actor shared the screenshot of her conversation with former Bills Safety Duke Williams. Williams had been thirsting for Mia Khalifa for around five months and repeatedly texted her on Twitter. Even though she ignored him the first few times he crossed the line and asked her to come to Miami to which she replied, “I’m in Miami. With my boyfriend.”

Up until the “Come to Miami” text, Mia had been understanding but she was angered after this text and shared the screenshot of the DM and posted it on Twitter with the caption, “Warning: Trespassers in my DM’s will be shot and hung out to dry in public.” Mia on the podcast said Williams was pretty drunk when he texted her and it was at almost three in the morning! Mia Khalifa also called out then Ole Miss QB Chad Kelly for sending thirsty DMs to her on Twitter.

She also shared that she got a taste of her own medicine when Steelers star WR JuJu Smith-Schuster shot her down publicly on Twitter. Mia Khalifa tweeted about the then 20-year-old JuJu saying “You are my new favourite follow on Twitter.” Smith showed wisdom beyond his age and from the shaming of Williams that it was best not to engage her. His response won the admiration of everyone: “Oh hell nah, I’m not fallin for this lol. I’m young not stupid.”

The moral of this story for all NFL players is to not slide into Mia Khalifa’s DM no matter how tempting it may be because you can be trolled by the whole for being too aggressive! Just look at what happened to Duke Williams!
