Matthew Ryan has made a name for himself at the biggest stage. Ryan played quarterback played for Boston College where he quickly rose to stardom with his stellar performances. He was selected third overall by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2008 NFL Draft.
The Indianapolis Colts have acquired Ryan from the Atlanta Falcons. As reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Colts were desperately looking for a new starting QB after trading Carson Wentz to the Washington Commanders. They sent a third-round pick to the Falcons in exchange for the star footballer.

Matt Ryan spent 14 glorious seasons with the Falcons where he set several NFL and team passing records, including the most passing yards by a quarterback over his first 14 seasons in the league. Ryan also led Atlanta to Super Bowl LI where they were brutally destroyed by Tom Brady and the Patriots.
The Falcons were up 28-3 towards the end of the third quarter. That’s when Brady unleashed the monster inside him and quickly went on to cover the 25-point deficit and tie the game. It became the first Super Bowl in NFL history to go into overtime. Matt Ryan and the Falcons choked all of a sudden despite having a 25 points lead over the Patriots.
That is not all the 2016 MVP quarterback can be remembered for. The 36-year old QB has a 120-102 record in his 222 starts with the Falcons. As a thank you for his excellent performances over the years, the Falcons made a video thanking the QB. However, the video was only 51 seconds long. Twitter was quick to notice that the Falcons made a longer video thanking Drew Bress when he retired. This started a string of hilarious comments.
