The Green Bay Packers’ 2021 season came to an abrupt end against the San Francisco 49ers and immediately after the defeat there was simply one question around the minds of all involved with the franchise. Where would their star quarterback Aaron Rodgers’s future hold in the coming season?

However, Rodgers’ Green Bay Packers teammate, Aaron Jones seems to have no doubt where the veteran would end up playing. The running back put in his vote of confidence that Rodgers would come back and play for them, after their disappointing end to the campaign this time around.

“I’ve heard what everybody else has heard, what they’re reading,” Jones said Tuesday on NFL Total Access Live. “But I think he’ll be there, in my heart. Green Bay, I can’t imagine him anywhere else, that’s where he’s been his whole career. I just can’t picture him anywhere else. I think we had a lot of fun this year, I hope to have him back and I believe in my heart he’ll be back.”

The Packers wide receiver completely believes that Rodgers will continue at the franchise, simply because of the fact that he does not see him play anywhere else except here.

Aaron Jones also gave a reason as to why he thought they failed as a collective unit this season and missed a chance to get into the Super Bowl. The harmony between the group has also been questioned for the past few games and he came up with an answer to that.

“We had a lot of veterans in there. Just the way we were able to bring along some of those younger guys and over the course of it have fun and be ourselves and come closer, all in that time, it was just fun to be around,” Jones said. “I think it brought joy back to football,” finished off Jones.
