“I like to dedicate this award to the memory of two really important people to me who passed on in the last couple of years. First is the man that drafted me in 2005, Ted Thompson, and the second is someone many people here are familiar with, former producer of the ESPYs and NFL honors, dear and loyal friend Maura Mandt,” Rodgers said towards the end of his speech.
The Green Bay star thanked his fans, his franchise, and his inner circle for their undying support and unconditional affection towards him. No matter what Rodgers said off the field, one has to admit that he thoroughly deserved this award purely for his heroics on the field.
