His 500th touchdown was a 23-yard pass to his teammate, Randall Cobb that came in the second quarter.
He managed to rack up his second touchdown of the night with another scouring pass to Randall Cobb in the second half as he climbed up the pecking order of touchdowns with 501 in his tally which is also the highest in the glittering antiquity of the Green Bay Packers. The man who was in the closest contention of Rodgers in the club history was Hall of Famer, Brett Favre who pulled off 495 touchdowns that can be assorted into 481 passing touchdowns and 14 rushing touchdowns.
One more TD from Rodgers will help him equalize the record of Philip Rivers for the all-time fifth position. The man who holds the ace in touchdowns is none other than the legend who stole the show on the same night with his new record of passing yardage, Tom Brady. Brady has 707 touchdowns in his kitty and now also leads the passing yardage by a proverbial mile as he kissed the benchmark of 80,560 yards, bettering the benchmark of 80,558 that was held by the legendary quarterback, Drew Brees.
