“Are you serious?”: Mark Madden baffled by WWE legend Ric Flair’s suggestion to bring Antonio Brown & Aaron Rodgers together at Green Bay

Aaron Rodgers is one of the biggest names in the NFL. Some call him ignorant, while many also consider him a free-spirited man who is willing to swim against the tide. A fact that no one can deny is that he is indeed one of the finest quarterbacks in the game.

Although Rodgers has been trolled quite a lot in recent times, he does have a huge fan base. As it turns out, one of those fans is WWE superstar Ric Flair. On the recent episode of his podcast Woo Nation, the legendary wrestler Ric Flair talked to Mark Madden about the Green Bay QB.

“If he blew up on Brady, he’ll blow up on Rodgers”: Mark Madden on Antonio Brown

During the conversation, Ric claimed that it appears as if the Packers are trying everything to make Aaron Rodgers stay with the team. “If they keep Davante Adams the receiver, if Cobb stays, (Rodgers) should stay with Green Bay,” Ric claimed. Madden also stated that it is looking more and more like Rodgers would stay with the Packers.

However, Madden also claimed, “Packers should give Rodgers a secondary target after Adams, I think that’s a Super Bowl-winning team if they could get one more weapon.” After this, Ric suggested that the Packers should sign Antonio Brown. This forced Madden to ask, “Are you serious.”

When Ric stated that he was indeed serious, Madden said, “Oh he’s insane, he’ll blow up as he always does. If he blew up on Brady, he’ll blow up on Rodgers. I couldn’t believe some of the stuff he said about Brady on his way out the door.” In fact, Antonio still continues to lash out at Brady and Arians from time to time.

Antonio is known for being a little too hard to handle and his shirtless shenanigans forced the Bucs to throw him out. However, one can’t deny that he has achieved a lot in his career. He is a 7-time Pro Bowler and a fantastic talent but again, teams would be skeptical to go after him as he can create quite a ruckus if things don’t go according to his will.
