The Dallas Cowboys are the ultimate talk of the town in the NFL, following their dominant performance against the Washington Football Team. The Boys produced one of the most one-sided matches this season, defeating the Washington side by a 56-14 margin to take themselves one step closer to the number 1 seed in the competition.
The best thing which came out of that encounter was the way the defense played, and it has ever since made other teams take notice of them if they had not already.
Emmanuel Acho has noticed a single major weakness in the Dallas Cowboys defense so far
Even ‘Speak for Yourself’ talkshow host, Emmanuel Acho jumped on this point, in the recent edition of his podcast, claiming how the Boys’ defense is one of the best in the NFL. He went on record to claim, that their defense is one of the most intimidating things in all of the sport right now.
He said, “Cowboys have 11 interceptions, the most we’ve seen since the 1980s. They’re 3 picks away from tying the NFL record, 4 picks away from breaking it. Micah Parsons has 13 sacks, and as a rookie, one and a half sacks from breaking Javon Kearse’s record.”
He continued that no team wants to face them except for one team in the competition who are the Philadelphia Eagles.
Emmanuel Acho said, “The Cowboys’ defense is as intimidating as there is in football at the moment.” Nobody wants to see them except the Philadelphia Eagles.”
He has pointed out one weakness in the highly regarded Dallas Cowboys defence, as he thinks they are not that great at stopping the runs. To justify his point he used the statistic that the Cowboys are only the 24th among the 32 teams in yards given up per rush.
Acho felt that this has not been exploited well by the other teams because they have not been able to stay in the game long enough to exploit this single weakness. Philadelphia Eagles would be the best suited to use this to their advantage, Acho felt because they are the best in rushing yards.
