The Seattle Seahawks had everything to play for in their previous encounter against the Rams. In order to keep their playoff hopes alive, they desperately needed to script a win. However, a few missed chances and missed calls, unfortunately, ended their season.

Seattle Seahawks running back Adrian Peterson is upset with the way poor officiating completely took the Tuesday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams away from his team. Dejected woth what had transpired, he posted a message about the same on Instagram.

Peterson stated that his side was “robbed” of a win and added that his sons had tears in their eyes as they asked if the refs were deliberately making the wrong calls as they wanted the Rams to win. “These are literally life-changing moments that shouldn’t be overlooked,” he wrote.

“I feel there are certain plays where officials should come together, review, and get the call right. Especially plays that are being displayed on million-dollar Jumbotrons where the entire stadium and every football loving fan across the world can see,” he added.

“I don’t make excuses and I also feel any situation can be overcome, but, opportunities are all you need to create change. We got robbed of that last night on two critical plays which resulted in a 7 point swing and took away great field position that would’ve given us a chance to put points on the board,” he said.

Peterson also added that the Rams were presented opportunities after opportunities in critical moments of the game which eventually took the match away from them. He argued that some of the plays should’ve been reviewable. It will be interesting to see if the NFL takes measures to stop such mistakes from happening in the future.
