Baker Mayfield won the Heisman Trophy in 2017 for his exceptional performance in college football. Mayfield’s Heisman winning statue was unveiled on Friday at the University of Oklahoma’s Everest Training Center.

The statue was initially supposed to be released back in 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The statue however seemed to have confused every football fan across the globe.

Baker Mayfield‘s statue was revealed in presence of Oklahoma alumni and donators of the athletic program. The 2018 No.1 draft pick left his mark on collegiate football during his time as a Sooners. Mayfield garnered 12,292 passing yards and 119 touchdowns and just 21 interceptions.

When the statue of Mayfield was revealed it shocked everybody present at the ceremony since it looked nothing like the now disgruntled Browns’ quarterback. Twitter had a field day when Mayfield’s Heisman statue picture went viral.
