Khalil Mack

Khalil Delshon Mack has made a name for himself in the world of the NFL. Born on February 22, 1991, the outside linebacker played college football at the University at Buffalo where he caught everybody’s attention with his fantastic gameplay. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 2014 NFL Draft.

Khalil has earned several awards in his illustrious career. Back in 2016, he was named the defensive player of the year. However, the Raiders decided to trade him in 2018 to the Chicago Bears. Khalil had a disaster of a season for the Bears back in 2021 mainly because of his foot injury.

Khalil will add immensely to the LA squad. Although he had a terrible season last time around, one must keep in mind that he is someone who has three All-Pro selections, six Pro Bowl nods, and has had four straight years with double-digit sacks.

As per NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, in order to add Mack to their squad, the Chargers will be sending a second-rounder and a sixth-rounder in 2023. One has to say that Mack’s absence might hurt the Bears. On the other hand, the Bears, who have hired Ryan Poles and Matt Eberflus as the new general manager and head coach, respectively, are looking to rebuild a squad, which is why they decided to let go of Khalil.
