Skip Bayless is known to be a Brady fan and has shown his love for the QB on many occasions. On The Skip Bayless Show, Skip talked about how Brady’s return to NFL will fair in comparison to Packers’ legend Brett Favre and NBA legend Michael Jordan. “No, no, a thousand times no. Tom Brady next year will be in the thick of the MVP race. I believe he will win it. He came so close this year–I think he should’ve won. But he didn’t. So, he’ll say ‘Watch this I’ll show you'”

Brett Favre played for the Vikings after un-retiring in 2009. He had a few good games but after the Bountygate scandal, Favre remained a former shell of himself. The Vikings went 6-10 in that season. “As far as I know, perfectly healthy and playing at a supremely high level,” Skip added.

Even Michael Jordan wasn’t like his former self when he returned. Unlike Brady, Jordan was retired for 3 years before announcing his return. His two years with Washington Wizards were just ceremonial seasons because he too played like a former shell of himself. “It’s nothing to do with what you’re about to witness with Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr.,” Skip concluded.

It is true that Tom Brady has managed to keep himself healthy and there are no signs of decline in his performance. There is a high possibility that Brady might run it again and won Super Bowl LVI and get his 8th ring. In his un-retirement post, Brady mentioned he said he had some “unfinished business” and maybe adding one more Lombardi Trophy will take care of that!
