Bobby Wagner

Bobby Joseph Wagner has achieved a lot in his illustrious career. The experienced linebacker played college football at Utah State, and on the back of impressive performances, he was roped in by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Bobby was a major part of the Seahawks’ lineup for a long time. Right from 2012, he played for the team from Seattle till 2021. However, the Seahawks are now looking to do some major changes to the unit. They roped in a new General Manager, a new Head Coach and since then, a couple of stars have been traded by the franchise.

First, the Seahawks traded Russell Wilson. As if there weren’t already so many incredible quarterbacks in the AFC, the Seahawks gave Russell away to the Denver Broncos. Moreover, they have decided to release Bobby as well and the star player wasn’t pleased with the franchise’s decision.

Bobby took to Twitter to claim that even after giving so many years to the franchise, he wasn’t even told that they were planning to release him. “Crazy part about all this. I played there for 10 years & I didn’t even hear it from them that I wasn’t coming back,” he wrote.

Both Russell and Bobby have been a huge part of the side and their departure means that the Seahawks are ready to make some major changes. While Russell has been roped in by the Broncos, Bobby is yet to find a team. However, according to several reports, the Cowboys are interested in adding him to their squad.
