“He’s willing to do everything,” Braxton Berrios backs Zach Wilson to come good in the coming NFL season

The New York Jets had a dismal 2021 season in the NFL, as the finished fourth in their division registering just 4 wins from their 17 matches. The Jets have a youngish squad and the side failed to propel them to a finish any higher than last place.

Jets’ second year rookie quarterback, Zach Wilson was a major disappointment and was a major part of why the side failed to pick up victories during their campaign. Wilson finished the season ranking in the bottom part of the almost every aspect of a quarterback’s play.

Zach Wilson did not have a great year as the starting quarterback in 2021

However, despite his dodgy start in the NFL, the Jets have kept their faith in him and will back him as the starting quarterback for the second successive season. Jets’ wide receiver, Braxton Berrios, who has built a good relationship with the quarterback, gave his approval to the move of pursuing with Zach Wilson.

He’s willing to do whatever it takes,” Berrios said, via Rich Cimini of ESPN.com. “It’s easy to say that, but it’s another thing when you take the time out of your offseason training schedule to actually travel to different places. He’s doing everything to get everyone on the same page and making a real change next year.”

Berrios made himself heard in his support of the youngster, and this should give Zach Wilson plenty of confidence to churn out performances on the pitch.
