“Ecstatic to have him back”: Bruce Arians is elated after Tom Brady decided to come out of retirement

Tom Brady, what a player, what a star. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their fans were left heartbroken when Tom decided to call it quits after the 2021 season. He did perform pretty well and had claimed on several occasions that he has a lot left in him which is why everyone was shocked by his decision.
Tom stated that he wanted to pay more attention to his family and it felt like we might not see him in the Bucs jersey again. However, much to the delight of his fans, Tom, just a few months after announcing retirement, has decided to take the field again.

Brady took to Twitter to announce that he will be joining his team for the next season. As expected, Bruce Arians was ecstatic with Brady’s call to come back. He issued a statement regarding him which was shared by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on their Twitter handle.
“Tom Brady loves to play football as much as anyone I have ever been around. As Tom said, his place right now is on the football field. He is still playing at the championship level and was as productive as anyone in the league last season. We are ecstatic that he decided to continue playing and working towards another championship,” Arians stated.
Moreover, Tampa Bay’s General Manager Jason Licht also issued a statement hailing Brady for making a comeback. “We are thrilled that Tom has decided to make a comeback this season. We said we would leave all options open for him should he reconsider his retirement and today’s announcement is something we have been preparing for in recent days.“
“Bruce and I have had plenty of conversations with Tom Brady that led us to believe that there was a realistic chance he would want to come back,” the statement read. Licht also stated that Tom is the greatest quarterback of all time and that the franchise would look to develop a team around him that can possibly win a championship for Tampa Bay.
