In fact, such has been his influence on the game that he has even managed to pull players out of retirement to take the field again alongside him.

Yes, we are talking about the Brady-Gronk equation that has gifted the football world several unforgettable moments. It was Brady’s presence at the Bucs which persuaded Gronk to join the team. Evidently, when Tom retired, there were speculations that Gronk might call it quits too.

Brady had pretty incredible seasons back-to-back for Tampa Bay. As a result, fans were shocked when he announced his retirement after the 2021 season ended. As soon as he made it clear that he wants to stay away from the game, rumors about Gronk’s retirement started surfacing.

Providing some relief to the Bucs fans, coach Bruce Arians recently claimed that Gronk is actually working out twice a week at the Buccaneers’ facility. However, he also stated that the franchise is still unaware of what Gronk has decided about his future.

Talking about the same, journalist Phil Perry took to Twitter and wrote, “Bruce Arians said Rob Gronkowski is working out at the Bucs facility twice a week. Doesn’t sound like Arians is planning on Gronkowski joining the retirement conga line in Tampa. ‘We’ll see.'”

On March 16, Gronk will become a free agent so it would be interesting to see what kind of contract is offered to him by the Bucs. It’s possible that the Bucs might try hard to get him back, however, it is also possible that the other teams might try to rope the experienced campaigner in by offering a better deal.
