Over the years, the Buffalo Bills fans have feared that the team might move to another city. Governor Kathy Hochul is well aware of this and in order to guarantee the team’s long-term future in Western New York, she has taken a step that is being loved by the football community.

“Buffalo Bills fans have enough stress,” she said. “I did not want them to have to worry about the future of the team,” she added as reported by Buffalo News. As it turns out, the Bills have announced a 30-year deal for a new $1.4 billion stadium in Orchard Park.

The stadium is expected to become functional around 2026. It will have around 62,000 seats, and the open-air stadium “built for Buffalo,” will be loaded with state-of-the-art facilities. Governor Kathy is receiving praise as the state of New York and Erie County will contribute $850 million to the construction costs.

This will ensure that the Bills will continue to stay where they are for an extended period of time. The Bills fans can breathe easy now.
