“He plays one way & won’t age well”: Colin Cowherd reckons Deebo Samuel deleting social media stuff related to 49ers is a ‘juvenile act’

This offseason has been one of the craziest ones in NFL history and more so for the wide receivers. This offseason saw WRs receiving the big bucks. The Packers traded their star receiver Davanate Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs also had to lose Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins.
Both the trades had to do with money and other star receivers are looking to follow in Adams’ and Hill’s footsteps. The biggest news this week was 49ers’ Deebo Samuel removing his 49ers profile pics and unfollowing the 49ers’ official Instagram handle.

Along with it, Deebo also deleted over 80 posts from his account which added fuel to the fire and gave rise to speculations about his possible exit from San Fransico. Talking about the same, Colin Cowherd had a few things to say on the latest episode of “Herd with Colin Cowherd.”
“Deebo Samuel is a very unique player, he’s a running back, he’s a wide receiver, they use him on a variety of positions. He’s fantastic so you should pay him what he wants right? Well yesterday he took all social media stuff with 49ers down which is juvenile but it is in trend. He wants to get paid top of the market,” Colin said.
“I want you to think about this, if you ran the 49ers, he gets hurt a lot. He plays one way and isn’t going to age well. He never played a full season. You are trying to beat the Rams in that division. Aaron Donald never gets hurt, Jalen Ramsey never gets hurt, Stafford is not hurt,” Colin stated.
“Deebo Samuel’s contract is very interesting. If you sign him for big money, think about the four crucial players, Trent Williams expensive, had some injuries, Kittle, Garoppolo, and Deebo Samuel, all 4 are not always available whereas you talk about Rams, Aaron Donald, Stafford, Cooper, and Jalen Ramsey are always available,” Colin said.
Colin went on to add that the media wants teams to pay the players whatever they want but the reality is that Deebo has been asked to play as a running back and that’s the last offensive position.
