Colin Cowherd says Russell Wilson’s arrival is great for Denver
Russell Wilson was the star performer for the Seattle Seahawks and contributed greatly to their success over the years. He spent 10 seasons with the Seahawks and went to Superbowl twice in 2013 and 2014 respectively. Additionally he also guided to Superbowl victory against the Denver Broncos and defeated 43-8 in Super Bowl XLVIII .
However he wasn’t able to replicate the same against the New England Patriots and fell 28-24 to them in Super Bowl XLIX. He was influential to say the least leading them to nine winning seasons and eight playoff berths.
Russell Wilson’s personal records are impressive as well. He recorded passes for 37,059 yards, 292 touchdowns and 87 interceptions. Moreover he made 144 consecutive regular-season starts during his time from 2012-2020. He ends his time with the Seahawks with a 104-53-1 regular-season record.
Colin Cowherd speaking on Russell Wilson’s trade says it is a great thing for the Denver Broncos. “To me, this is great for Denver. Denver gets the quarterback. This is what I said about the Sixers-Nets trade. ‘Oh, the Nets gave up Ben Simmons and draft picks and Seth Curry and Andre Drummond.’ Who cares? Philadelphia got James Harden. The team that gets the star wins the trade. The Denver Broncos are now in the Super Bowl bubble,” he said.
