The Los Angeles Rams are heading into the Super Bowl this season courtesy of some terrific performances from in the post season. Cooper Kupp has been one of them, and his partnership with Odell Beckham Jr has propelled them to numerous victories this season.
Heading into the titular clash, Cooper Kupp was sent in for media duties from the Rams where he gave a heart warming answer to a question asked by a kid reporter. The response has garnered extremely positive response from all over the internet.
Cooper Kupp has had a terrific impact on the Los Angeles Rams this season
“What drags you to be the best you can possibly be in life?” the kid asked Cooper Kupp after congratulating him for making it into the Super Bowl LVI.
“It really comes down to my faith, I believe it, God made me with a purpose. He gave me the passion and the talents to pursue a specific thing. I found out at a very young age. I realise football was something, when I was playing football, he was well pleased with what I was doing- that’s what I was supposed to be doing.”
“It felt like I had a supernatural power, and I wanted to go all-in on that. It was a great thing because I knew it was something that God had given to me. My drive wasn’t to achieve anything for myself like goals of anything, like any honours I was striving to,” said Cooper Kupp.
Cooper Kupp continued with his response saying, “It was really about each day feeling that I’m going to be the best that I can possibly be no other reason than that God has put me here and I want to honour that and respect that to the best of my abilities. So now I get to come into work with the greatest purpose, with the greatest drives. That’s what drives me to be honest, whether it is the best football player I can be or the best man I can be, the best son, the best husband, the best father all that stuff. It drives me every morning.”
