“What drags you to be the best you can possibly be in life?” the kid asked Cooper Kupp after congratulating him for making it into the Super Bowl LVI.

“It really comes down to my faith, I believe it, God made me with a purpose. He gave me the passion and the talents to pursue a specific thing. I found out at a very young age. I realise football was something, when I was playing football, he was well pleased with what I was doing- that’s what I was supposed to be doing.”

It felt like I had a supernatural power, and I wanted to go all-in on that. It was a great thing because I knew it was something that God had given to me. My drive wasn’t to achieve anything for myself like goals of anything, like any honours I was striving to,” said Cooper Kupp.

Cooper Kupp continued with his response saying, “It was really about each day feeling that I’m going to be the best that I can possibly be no other reason than that God has put me here and I want to honour that and respect that to the best of my abilities. So now I get to come into work with the greatest purpose, with the greatest drives. That’s what drives me to be honest, whether it is the best football player I can be or the best man I can be, the best son, the best husband, the best father all that stuff. It drives me every morning.”
