The Super Bowl turned out to be quite an entertaining one. Filled with ups and downs, the game finally ended in favor of the Rams. As usual, a lot of celebrities attended the mega event. However, more than their presence, what ended up drawing everybody’s attention is the fact that most of them were not wearing face masks.

Even when the attendees were given mandated KN95 masks and everyone was required to wear them throughout the match at the SoFi stadium, the celebs were seen taking pictures and moving around without wearing one. It is a policy of the Los Angeles County which requires people in ‘mass gatherings’ to wear masks to avoid the spread of Covid 19.

This was a clear violation of California’s indoor mask mandate which is in place until Feb. 15. Celebs like Jay-Z, Charlize Theron, LeBron James, Jennifer Lopez, and Ben Affleck were spotted enjoying themselves at the Super Bowl without wearing masks. Taking about the same, politician Daniel Reed had a few things to say on Fox and Friends.

I think this is just increasingly frustrating for Americans as this ‘rules for thee, but not for me’ nonsense occurs. Eric Garcetti said he was just holding his breath. I’m sure all these celebrities were holding their breath the entire time,” Crenshaw said, adding that this behavior is downright hypocritical.

They really don’t believe the masks work or they are effective in these cases. They know that people can go out and live their lives. They will continue to do it and not note the hypocrisy that they are engaging in,” he stated. Dan also claimed that the left reckons they are the elites who can tell America what to do in every other instance.

In fact, a lot of fans were enraged after watching the celebs attending the game without wearing masks. No matter what one says, public figures do hold the extra responsibility to carefully uphold the law and if they are observed flouting them openly, what can we expect from others.
