The Indianapolis Colts had a great season and were bound to make the playoffs and many believed that they will be a tough matchup to come up against during the playoffs due to the strength of their team which was seen throughout the season.
The Colts lost their last two games during the regular season which knocked them out of the playoffs contention which came as a shock to everyone around the league because their place for the postseason looked almost locked two week before the end of the regular season.
The Colts lost to the Las Vegas Raiders and the Jacksonville Jaguars in their last two game of the regular season and the loss against the Jaguars was a total meltdown by them as they were clearly far better than a struggling Jaguars team and they choked against them which led them to miss the playoffs.

Colts player Darius Leonard during his appearance on the Pat McAfee Show talked about the collapse of the Colts during the end of the regular season and said, “When we started winning games we thought that we made it(the playoffs).“
Darius Leonard added, “I had a bad feeling heading into the last few weeks because of the vibe that I was getting.”, Darius Leonard further said, “I’m upset that it ended the way it did but I’m glad it ended the way it did, and to the point where I hope this kinda burns deep down inside the guys’ hearts to say that we just really came out here and got embarrassed.”
Darrius Leonard’s teammate Jonathan Taylor earlier this week also reflected the way their season ended, as he said, “Nobody wants to go with what we went through after losing that game as we knew we would have been able to win games in the playoffs.”, He further said, “This upcoming season is whatever it takes to get the job done.”
There is no denying the fact that the roster of the Indianapolis Colts has all potential to be a dangerous team not only in the regular season but also in the postseason and Darius Leonard along with his teammates will be determined to make a deep run into playoffs next season after getting embarrassed against the Jaguars which spoiled a good season for them.
