Demarcus Cook, half-brother of Minnesota Vikings star running back Dalvin Cook has been charged with first-degree murder in Maimi, Florida. Demarcus was charged with first-degree murder and robbery after allegedly exchanging gunfire with a 17-year-old during a drug deal gone bad.
The 17-year-old kid was killed during the gunfight and Demarcus was found wounded on the scene. Neither Dalvin Cook nor the Minnesota Vikings have made any statements regarding the arrest of Demarcus.

Demarcus, brother of Dalvin Cook allegedly killed a 17-year-old
As reported by the Miami-Herald, Demarcus Cook,18, exchanged gunfire with a man inside a car outside a home near Northwest Sixth Street and 31st Avenue on Tuesday. When police arrived at the scene, they took the victim to the Jackson Memorial Hospital where the doctors tried to resuscitate the man but failed. The police reconstructed the entire altercation with the help of witnesses and video surveillance cameras near the scene.
Tateanna Price, mother of Davin Cook spoke with the Miami-Herald and confirmed that her son and Cook’s half-brother had been seriously injured during the shooting. She also added that her daughter too had been hurt during the incident. However, Cook’s injuries were said to be minor enough for him to be questioned at the police headquarters.
Cook has been officially charged with first-degree murder and robbery and was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight correctional center in West Miami-Dade. Not too long ago, three years to be precise, Demarcus had been the victim of a drive-by shooting during which he was shot in the chest when he was just 14 years old.
