Tom Brady is a famed American football player who played as the quarterback in the NFL for more than two decades with the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The legendary QB recently announced his retirement from the sport following his abysmal outing in the 2022 season.

The former Buccaneers QB had previously unretired in 2022 after a brief 30-day retirement to continue playing football. However, his last season did not go the way he would’ve hoped for. In his last season, Brady threw for 4694 yards and 25 touchdowns. Under his leadership, the 8-9 Buccaneers somehow crawled into the playoffs by winning the weak NFC South division.

However, the Buccaneers got bounced off the postseason by the Dak Prescott–led Dallas Cowboys. The 2022 season saw Brady’s first losing record as a starting QB, his first loss against the Cowboys, and his first loss against the Atlanta Falcons in his 23-year-long career.

Many people believe his on-field struggles are due to him going through a rough divorce with his partner, Gisele Bündchen. The couple announced their decision to split in October 2022 after being married for 13 years. Brady and Gisele’s life as a couple started in rough waters as they had to co-parent Brady’s kid with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan.

Over the years, there have been many rumors that the seven-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady dumped Bridget Moynahan when she was pregnant and started dating the Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen. But how true were those rumors?

Despite the popular belief, no, Tom Brady did not dump a pregnant Bridget Moynahan. Brady found out his ex-girlfriend was pregnant with his kid a couple of months after he started dating the fashion model, Gisele Bündchen.

Brady and Moynahan started dating back in 2004, when both of their careers were at new heights. After dating for nearly two years, the couple decided to split and announced their decision in December 2006.

Two months later, when the Patriots QB had already begun dating Gisele, a rep for Moynahan confirmed that the I, Robot actress was pregnant with Brady’s kid. Brady, Gisele, and Moynahan then found a way to peacefully co-parent John Edward Thomas Moynahan.

“Two months into our relationship, Tom told me that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant. The very next day, the news was everywhere, and I felt my world had been turned upside down,” Gisele recalled in her 2018 memoir, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life.

After being married for 13 years and raising 3 children together, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady and the runway model Gisele Bündchen decided to get a divorce in 2022.

Brady and Gisele first started dating back in 2006 after meeting through mutual friends. After dating for more than two years, the couple officially tied the knot in 2009 in a private wedding ceremony in Santa Monica, California.

The couple decided to get a divorce after they simply grew apart from each other. Following the amicable divorce, Gisele and Brady have put their children’s happiness as their priority and have chosen Miami as a home base to raise them.
