The former Patriots QB Tom Brady is one of the most famous celebrities in the United States. Dubbed the greatest quarterback of all time, Brady was a household name in the US for more than two decades. His success bought more than just fame and money. It bought the friendship of some of the most influential people, including former US President Donald Trump, who apparently badly wanted Brady to date his daughter Ivanka Trump.

During an appearance on the Howard Stern Show in 2004, Trump said that Brady would like to date his daughter Ivanka. “Tom Brady, the quarterback, is somebody that really likes Ivanka and he’s a great guy and I got to know him at the Miss Universe contest,” Trump said. “I think he’s great, He’s 25 years old. He’s Mr. All-American.”

When Stern asked Trump if Brady was dating Ivanka at the time, Donald replied, “Well, it could happen. I mean, he’d like to, and we’ll see,” Trump said, noting that Brady was “focused now on the football stuff.”

Furthermore, in her 2017 book Raising Trump, Ivanka Trump’s mother Ivana claimed that Donald tried to be a matchmaker between her daughter and the Patriots icon, but Ivanka had no interest in it. “[Ivanka] preferred to keep her personal life to herself,” Ivana wrote. “At one point, Donald wanted her to date Tom Brady, the quarterback. He said, ‘You have to meet him!’ But Ivanka wasn’t into it.”

Despite Donald Trump’s desires, Tom Brady never dated Ivanka Trump. During an interview on the Howard Stern Show, the seven-time Super Bowl champion revealed that he never went out with Ivanka.

“Trump always dreamed of you marrying Ivanka, and he told me he suggested it to you, but did you ever go out with her?” Stern asked Brady. To which the Patriots legend replied, “That was a long time ago in my life, so … No, there was never that where we ever dated or anything like that.”

Moreover, Brady also suggested that Trump wouldn’t arrange dates for his own daughter. But Stern kept pressing him on about whether Donald ever really tried to set him up with Ivanka. “I don’t know if that’s — he never suggested that to me,” Brady replied. “I need the tape on that.”

In brief, no, Brady never went on a date with Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump. She has been married to her husband Jared Kushner since 2009. Brady was also happily married to the Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen for more than a decade until the pair separated in 2022.
