The Pro Bowl 2022 was played on 6th February at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada where the AFC defeated the NFC by the score of 41-35 making it the 5th straight win for the AFC in the Pro Bowl.
Justin Herbert was declared as the Pro Bowl Offensive MVP as he was the only quarterback in the game who didn’t throw a single interception while other quarterbacks threw multiple interceptions that lead to players on defense scoring many touchdowns.
However, the quality displayed by both the teams did not entertain the fans around the world as they wanted to see more commitment from them in an event where they should be proud of getting a chance to play.
Former NFL player, Dion Sanders was very disappointed by the manner this game was being played and expressed it in his tweet by saying, “Lord help me. I’m watching the @nfl Pro Bowl and I remember when we were so proud and appreciative of that accolade.”
“We competed at practice and in the game… What Happened & When ?”- Dion Sanders
Dion Sander along with multiple fans and former players were really upset while watching this Pro Bowl as there was no tackling or anything by the defense and it just removes the competitive factor from a game which makes it worthless to watch.
It is understandable that the players don’t want to get injured in a meaningless game just before the off-season but this kind of quality is just unacceptable on the field and the NFL should modify this game to make it more interesting for the fans.
Earlier Pro-Bowl was an event in which players were proud to play and gave their all on the field to cherish this opportunity but recently it just has been a boring snooze-fest for everyone and nobody likes to watch it anymore due to the lack of quality displayed on the field by the best players in the NFL.
