The Cincinnati Bengals have been astonishingly good. They defied all expectations and made their way to the Super Bowl after defeating some of the toughest teams in the competition. An important member of this unit is cornerback Eli Apple who has set his eyes on OBJ.
Before the ultimate clash, Eli reportedly told DC Rou Anarumo that he knows Odell Beckham Jr’s tendencies which is why he wants to cover him. Apple and OBJ are former teammates and they must know each other’s playing style pretty well. Both have featured for the Giants in the past.
It will be interesting to see how this strategy pans out as OBJ has been simply sensational lately. When he was with the Browns, OBJ looked down and out. However, as soon as he joined the Rams, there was a drastic change in his performance. It looked like he was enjoying the game a lot more which translated into his performance as well.
