“Good guys finish last” Emmanuel Acho sends a clear message to Lamar Jackson over impending contractual talks with the Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have a lot to ponder about during the NFL offseason despite handing a 3-year contract to their head coach John Harbaugh. They are yet to get closer to finalising a deal with their star wide receiver, Lamar Jackson.

The franchise and Jackson are yet to make any progress towards a new deal, owing to differences of opinion with the player asking for much more than what he is being offered by the Ravens.

Leading NFK analyst, Emmanuel Acho joined in on the conversation regarding Lamar Jackson’s contractual situation, and how the wide receiver has failed to earn himself a better deal. Speaking on the popular show, Speak For Yourself, Acho said that he does not agree with how Lamar Jackson is handing his current situation at the Baltimore Ravens.

“I hate how Lamar Jackson’s handling the situation. Good guys finish last. In the NFL, you gotta go take your money. Period. Dak Prescott, one of the winningest quarterback in the NFL history, through 4 years, he got an MVP vote. He took over from the beloved Tony Romo as a 4th round pick,” said Emmanuel Acho.

Emmanuel Acho also compared the wide receiver’s situation with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott, who failed to earn himself a good deal as well, saying that good guys do not get what they deserve, and will finish last in the race for more money.

Emmanuel Acho continued, “23 touchdowns, 4 interceptions in rookie year with a declining wide receiver, who was injured. And Dak Prescott had to beg for his money, franchise tag, franchise tag, finally he got paid. Who didn’t get to beg, Ezekiel?”

“Who got paid, Zeke, who didn’t get paid, Dak Prescott. Good guys finish last. Cooper Kupp, last year, Super Bowl MVP making what, $50 million dollars this year. Good guys finish last. Lamar Jackson is playing this too much as a good guy.”
