The Cleveland Browns have had a stellar season so far. They are running with a winning record. After 16 games, the team stands at an 11-5 record. With 11 wins and five losses, they are very much close to getting into the playoffs. They can secure the much-needed spot in the AFC by surpassing big shots like the Dolphins and the Ravens.
Nonetheless, there are a lot of permutations and combinations that have to play a vital role. The situation is pretty complex and all the Browns can do is to give it their all.
The AFC will have some very crucial matchups in the coming week. The Dolphins will play the Ravens and the Bills in their last two. The Ravens will also play the Steelers. If the Browns have to secure the AFC No.1 Conference seed, then the Ravens need to lose consecutive games. On the other hand, the Bills need to beat the Dolphins in their last game (week 18). In addition, the Browns need to beat the Cincinnati Bengals in week 18. With all these, the Browns can earn the No.1 seed in the conference.
The equations seem really difficult for the Browns who have been injury-ridden throughout the season. If things work in line then the team may grab the conference spot.
Joe Flacco is the new answer to the problems that the Browns have suffered
The Cleveland Browns have found solace in almost ‘retired’ free agent Joe Flacco. The quarterback in his late thirties is showing a new dream to the Browns fans who suffered major injury issues throughout the season. The quarterback problems have haunted them a lot and Flacco looks to be the new-found answer to everything.
The Browns did not receive the service of their star quarterback Deshaun Watson even this season. In addition, their backup quarterbacks also suffered major injuries. With all these problems, they signed free agent Flacco, who shined in the Browns jersey.
With his touchdown drives in consecutive games, Flacco gave the Browns much-needed momentum lately. Halfway through the middle, the Browns were struggling with the same win-loss ratio. But they led the drive in the coming months with the help of Flacco.
