Patrick Mahomes is one of the biggest names in the world of the NFL. Although the Chiefs couldn’t go the distance this time around, they were quite consistent throughout the season, and Patrick Mahomes had a major role to play in that.

Mahomes is currently the highest paid quarterback in the league which is enough to prove the talent and popularity of the man. As it turns out, some thugs were all set to make loads of money by selling counterfeit Patrick Mahomes Super Bowl rings. However, their plans wer quashed by the feds.

As reported by TMZ, the package in question actually came in from China and was headed for Florida. It consisted of as many as 30 fake Bucs Super Bowl rings, 110 fake Atlanta Braves World Series rings, 10 fake Milwaukee Bucks NBA championship rings, and 80 fake Chiefs Super Bowl rings.

As per the reports, the whole package which was busted just in time is worth around $345,000. It would be fair to say that this is not the first time a bust like this has been carried out. In fact a few months back, there were reports that the feds seized around 56 shipments containing over a 1,000 fake sports trophies and collectibles.
