“F**k the NFL”: Fans come out in support of Eminem taking the knee after conflicting reports with NFL

What an entertaining Super Bowl it turned out to be. Full of ups and downs, the Bengals and the Rams played their heart out but in the end, it was the Rams who took home the coveted trophy. Right from the start, the Rams were the overwhelming favorites and they started off brilliantly as well.
However, the Bengals made a fantastic comeback to take a lead in the third round but they failed to handle the aggressive Rams in the final quarter and hence, the game ended 23-20 in favor of the team from Los Angeles. Apart from the incredible action, the fans were treated to some astounding music during the halftime show.

However, during his performance, Rap God Eminem took a knee which caught everyone’s attention. There were reports claiming that NFL tried to stop the music icon from doing so. For the unversed, Eminem joined an All-Star cast for a short medley performance during the Super Bowl LVI half-time show to perform a snippet of ‘Forgot About Dre’ and ‘Lose Yourself’.
Towards the end of his performance, Eminem dropped on his knee (the symbolic gesture of Black Lives Matter Movement) and was championed by former Quarterback Colin Kaepernick. However, the NFL denied the allegations of them stopping Eminem from doing the gesture on stage.
“We watched all elements of the show during multiple rehearsals this week and were aware that Eminem was going to do that,” league spokesman Brian McCarthy said. Netizens really liked Eminem’s gutsy move and showered praises on him as soon as the video of him kneeling started making rounds.
