Tom Brady is arguably the greatest player in the history of the NFL. The legendary quarterback has won it all, during his esteemed career and had announced his retirement from the game in February this year.

However, Tom Brady decided that he’s still got something left in him and announced his return to the game only 40 days after the initial announcement. He will once again don the Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey to probably alongside his close mate Rob Gronkowski, if things go perfectly according to plan.

The veteran tight end revealed a massive update on the future of the quarterback, saying that he expects Tom Brady to play till 50 years of age. Gronkowski made this judgement on the basis of Brady’s current fitness levels and the amount of effort he puts into his game even at this age.

Rob Gronkowski made an appearance on the late night Jimmy Kimmel show and said, “I was not surprised at all. I was actually surprised how quick it was, because I thought he was possibly going to take a year off or something like that and maybe come back after that.

“I believe he’ll have it until he’s at least 50 years old. I see his work ethic day in and day out, and it’s second to none,” Rob Gronkowski said of Brady’s retirement plans.

Brady is returning for his 23-year season in the NFL, as he aims to win his eighth Super Bowl title after his side closely lost out last season, losing out in the playoffs. In what will come in as more good news for the Buccaneers fans, Gronkowski can also return to the franchise to play alongside Brady.
