The young Philadelphia Eagles’ second-round NFL 2020 draft pick, Jalen Hurts makes the eighth position in the fastest rankings. The 23-year old has a 4.59 seconds timing on the 40-yard dash timing. He has an 87-speed rating on Madden 22.

#9. Trace McSorley

The ex-Baltimore Ravens comes in at the second bottom of the list of the fastest quarterbacks in the league. Trace McSorley has an official 40-yard dash timing of 4.57 seconds from 2019. He also has an 87 rating of speed on the Madden 22 game.

#8. Russel Wilson

Russel Wilson comes in at number 8 in the list of the fastest quarterbacks rating. The Seattle Seahawks quarterback has an official 40-yard dash timing of 4.55 seconds and boasts an 85-speed rating in the Madden 22 game.

#7. Trey Lance

The up and coming Trey Lance plays for the San Francisco 49ers after being picked up in the 2021 draft. The 21-year old does not have an official timing for the 40-yard dash but he has a timing in the range of mid 4.5 seconds according to Anthony Hobgood, a performance manager at EXOS. He has a speed rating of 87 on Madden 22.

Las Vegas Raiders’ second choice quarterback, Marcus Mariota is one of the fastest quarterbacks in the NFL. The 28-year old former Titans man has a 40-yard dash timing of 4.48 seconds. Additionally, he has a speed rating of 88 on the Madden 22 game.

#5. Chris Streveler

Chris Streveler has an excellent 40-yard dash timing in the form of 4.51 seconds but has not had the success expected of him in other departments. The 27-year old was recently signed by the Baltimore Ravens, after being waived off from his previous franchise, the Arizona Cardinals.

Making it into the Top-4 first is New Orleans Saints’ Taysom Hill. The veteran quarterback has one of the best 40-yard dash timing and has been a great servant for his franchise since joining them in 2017. He has a timing of 4.46 seconds, which he recorded in BYU Pro Day.

Chicago Bears’ second choice quarterback, Justin Fields is one of the fastest quarterbacks going around in the NFL and makes a podium spot n the list. Fields has an impressive 40-yard dash timing of 4.44 which he recorded during his tenure at Ohio State. He has a 90 rating for speed on Madden 22.

#2. Kyler Murray

Kyler Murray has made rapid strides in the NFL ever since joining the Arizona Cardinals. The 24-year old quarterback won the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in his first year in the league. Murray has a 40-yard score of mid 4.3 seconds, although it hasn’t been confirmed by the official records. He has a 91 rating for speed on the official Madden 22 game.

Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson is the fastest quarterback in the NFL. The 25-year old has an official 40-yard speed score of 4.34 seconds which makes him grab the pole position in the rankings. In 2019, only his second season at the highest season he was named the unanimous MVP. During his short career, he has already earned his name among the best quarterbacks in the AFC. Notably, he also has the highest speed rating of 96 in the Madden 22 game.
