Tom Brady announced his retirement from the NFL a month ago, but when you’re the best player ever in the history of the league, no one wants the fairytale story to come to an end. Ever since he announced his retirement, there have been plenty of rumours that the 45-year old quarterback would definitely make a return to the game.

The San Francisco 49ers have been one of the teams rumoured looking to bring back Tom Brady during the offseason. Although the credibility of these rumours is yet to be ascertained, 49ers’ tight-end George Kittle had to give his opinion on them as he attended an NHL game this weekend.

George Kittle hilariously avoided the question while making an appearance in the NHL

TNT held an interview with George Kittle, during the game and asked the 28-year old about the possibility of his side signing the legendary quarterback. Kittle handled the question pretty well, as he offered a hilarious response to take himself off the spot on a question that could have been very tricky for him to answer.

The tight end jokingly said that he lost connection to the interviewers in order to negate the question. George Kittle pretended to have a glance at his watch and said, “I think I’m off the air now. Sorry, you’re breaking up. I can’t hear you. I know just about as much as all you guys.”

At this point of time, Tom Brady returning to the NFL this season is still just a word in the air, but fans seem to be doing a good job of holding onto these thoughts as long as the future hall of fame does not come and completely rule out the possibility of his return or spring up a surprise and announce his return to the pitch.
