“We absolutely need to add some pieces,” Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur confident of signing proven wide receivers ahead of the 2022 season

The Green Bay Packers have suffered the most during one of the craziest months of the offseason, in the sense that they have lost a couple of crucial players from their setup. In particular, the Packers have lost out on two of their Premier wide receivers in the form of Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
Despite earning a contract extension from their veteran quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, they are still struggling to bring in more quality over the pitch, as they look to mount a challenge for the Super Bowl. The only positive thing for the Packers at the moment is the fact, that there’s still plenty of time left in the offseason for them to make amends in the wide receiver position.
Green Bay Packers will have to deal without the services of their star wide receiver Davante Adams for the 2022 season

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur acknowledged that the franchise need to sign in quality WRs over the course of the next month to fill their dearth in that position. In a conversation with Tom Pelissero of NFL network, he revealed the same saying “we absolutely have to add some pieces to that room.”
The loss of Davante Adams will be the one which might hurt the Packers the most in the coming season, especially after the form he showed throughout the previous seasons.
After acknowledging their need for a wide receiver, Matt LaFleur also threw in words of confidence for their fans, saying that there’s still plenty of time for them to make changes, with the season starting in September.

“Certainly there’s going to be opportunity, we’re still in free agency and then we’ve got the Draft,” LaFleur said, via Pelissero. “In my experience, there’s a lot of movement that can take place between now and the start of the season.”
The Green Bay Packers can rope in proven players in the form of Odell Beckham Jr, Julio Jones, Jarvis Landry or Will Fuller if they want through free agency.
