Los Angeles Rams crushed the Arizona Cardinals and caused great humiliation to them on Monday night in the Wild Card game. From the start of the game, the Rams were clear at the task at hand — winning.

It looked like the Rams were just having fun since Arizona was clearly not interested in making a comeback or playing decent football. Chris Broussard gave all the credit for the Rams’ victory to quarterback Matthew Stafford. He said that Stafford’s performance was the reason the Rams had a 34-11 victory.

Chris Broussard can’t stop praising Matthew Stafford after his incredible performance

“It’s simple, Matthew Stafford the QB”, Broussard said. “It’s just as simple as that. All of the pressure was on Stafford. The pressure was not on Aaron Donald and Von Miller. It was not on Cooper Kupp, Cam Akers. Everyone was pointing to Matthew Stafford.”

Chris Broussard said that despite being pressured plenty of times, the Rams QB held his own and dominated throughout the game. Stafford was 13-of-17 for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns and zero interceptions. Even WR Odell Beckham Jr. threw a beautiful 40-yard pass, which Akers plucked out off thin air.

Broussard further said that had Matthew Stafford lost to the Cardinals at home, in a Wild Card game that too a division opponent, he would’ve been absolutely criticized. Chris said, “The talk would’ve been, did we give up too many draft picks for him, was he worth all that. Did the Rams mortgage their future for nothing.”

If the Rams had lost to the Cardinals on Monday night, Matthew Stafford would’ve started 0-4 in his playoff appearances. It took Stafford 13 years to win a playoff game. “With all of that pressure, he goes out there and lits it up from the get-go,” said Broussard. “The Rams are 7-0 when Stafford doesn’t throw an INT and 6-5 when he does. So, he played a clean game, no turnovers, and the Rams rolled.”

After registering an amazing win, the Rams have advanced into the divisional round and will head to Raymond James Stadium to face Tom Brady and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
