The athletic QB who once terrorized the league during his Seahawks days has not been the same ever since he was traded to the Broncos. Once a Super Bowl Champion led the Broncos to the dead last place in the AFC West. However, through his up and downs in recent times, the 9-time Pro Bowler has one person who stood by him and supported him, his wife Ciara Wilson.
Russell and Ciara Wilson are one of the most popular couples in American pop culture. The Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson and the Grammy-winning singer Ciara have been married together since 2016 and continue to love each other to this day.
Furthermore, Ciara and Russell Wilson are parents to three lovely children. The couple founded the Why Not You Foundation, which is dedicated to fighting poverty with education and is also involved in several other charitable activities. But how did the Broncos QB meet the Grammy winner Ciara?

Russell and Ciara Wilson’s first meet
During an Instagram live stream, Ciara revealed how she met the onetime Super Bowl Champion, Russell Wilson. The couple originally met at Wilson’s alma mater, Wisconsin’s basketball game, on March 26, 2015.
After a brief conversation, Russell Wilson asked Ciara for a dinner and the sparks started to fly. In fact, the American singer had to cancel the plans she had with her friends and agreed to a dinner date with the quarterback. “Next thing I knew, it was 12:00 [a.m.], 12:30 [a.m.], and I was sold on you,” recalled Russell during an Instagram Live.
The couple kept their relationship under cover during the early stages but were sometimes spotted at sporting events. But a month after their first date, Russell and Ciara Wilson made their first appearance as a couple at a White House Dinner on April 28, 2015.

More than a year after their first date, the couple exchanged vows and got married in a secret ceremony at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England, on July 6, 2016. Apart from being officially married, Russell Wilson also became the stepdad of Ciara’s kid Future Zahir Wilburn, who she had with her ex-boyfriend Future.
Nevertheless, Russell and Ciara Wilson welcomed their first child together, Sienna Princess Wilson, on April 28, 2017. Apart from being a family, where they share three children, the couple also often have a partnership in business ventures.
They started their own foundation named Why Not You, to eradicate poverty by educating the youth. In addition, they are also part owners of the Seattle Sounders soccer team, which competes in Major League Soccer. Now, Russell and Ciara Wilson have been married for almost seven years and continue to shine together as a couple to this day.
