After Lambeau’s retirement, the Packers struggled a lot and they finally succeeded in the 1960s, under head coach Vince Lombardi. Then-roster also included many future Hall of Famers on offense and defense, such as quarterback Bart Starr, fullback Jim Taylor, Paul Hornung, linebacker Ray Nitschke, and many more. After winning many championships, the Packers claimed the first-ever Super Bowl trophy, in its inaugural year in 1967, after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs.
Just like that, they won the second Super Bowl as well, in 1968 defeating the Oakland Raiders. Then Lombardi retired, and again the Packers fell into a long futility period. They barely made two playoff appearances, in 1968 and 1992.

1968: Super Bowl II
After winning Super Bowl I, the Packers again made it to Super Bowl II and won their second consecutive trophy. The game was held between the Packers and Raiders, at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida.
The Packers like always, dominated the field and allowed the Raiders to score only two touchdown passes. They won the game by 33-14. Quarterback Bart Starr was again named the MVP for completing 13 out of 24 passes for 202 yards and one touchdown.
1996: Super Bowl XXXI
After a long period of futility, the Packers returned to the Super Bowl again in 1996. The game was held between the Packers and New England Patriots, at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The Packers’ unanswered 17 points in the second quarter sealed the win for them by 35-21. Packers’ Desmond Howard was named the MVP that year for recording 154 kickoff return yards.
2010: Super Bowl XLV
After nearly a decade and a half, the Packers landed their fourth Super Bowl trophy in 2010. They appeared in the 1998 Super Bowl also but couldn’t score a win. This time, it was against the Pittsburgh Steelers held at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Packers dominated the field from the very beginning with a lead of 21-3 but later allowed the Steelers to reach 10 points before halftime. They eventually scored the victory at 31-25. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers was named MVP that year for completing 24 out of 39 passes for 304 yards along with three touchdowns, and no interceptions.
