New Orleans Saints is an American professional football team that is an expansion franchise based in New Orleans. It’s a part of the National Football Conference (NFC) established in 1967. The initial year for the team was quite tough in the NFL as they lost 11 out of their 14 games.
Oddly for them, the Saints suffered continued futility for two decades, until finally, they posted their first-ever winning season. During their decades, the team had two notable players, one of whom was Archie Manning, the father of the prominent Manning brothers —Peyton and Eli, and Tom Dempsey.
