“Another One”: Joe Burrow breaks an unwanted record during the Super Bowl loss against the Los Angeles Rams

Aaron Donald and Joe Burrow

The Cincinnati Bengals led by Joe Burrow lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl as their hunt for the first Super Bowl in franchise history seems to continue further.

This season was a remarkable season for this young Cincinnati team as they performed way above their expectations and won the AFC leading to their first Super Bowl appearance in 33 years. Joe Burrow in just his second year in the NFL led this young Bengals team to defeat the likes of the Chiefs and the Titans at their home during the playoffs before unfortunately bowing out to the Rams.

Throughout the season Joe Burrow has been the most sacked quarterback in the league due to a poor offensive line that constantly fails to protect him and that didn’t change at the Super Bowl as he broke a record and tied with Roger Staubach in being the most sacked quarterback in a Super Bowl.

“Sacked the most time”: Joe Burrow

Joey B

Joe Burrow was the most sacked quarterback in the league this season and broke another record during the season as he tied the record of getting most sacked in a Super Bowl.

Burrow tied with Roger Staubach as they both got sacked 7 times in a Super Bowl, He was sacked twice by Aaron Donald and also twice by Von Miller which ultimately paved the way for the victory of the Los Angeles Rams.

Bengals

If the offensive line of the Bengals gets improved during the offseason via draft or free agency then they will be back again in a much better position next season and might shock multiple teams again as they have Joe Burrow and JaMarr Chase who along with their teammates can cause serious havoc against any team in the league just like they did this season.
