Joe Burrow had a magnificent season last time around. Whenever the Cincinnati Bengals needed him, he was there to drag his team out of trouble. Even under extreme pressure, the team from Cincinnati was able to win games after games and a lot of credit for it has to go to mighty Joe.
His individual performances and his leadership quality paved the way for the underdogs to make it big. Although they were disappointed to emerge on the losing side at the Super Bowl, the Bengals would surely be proud of their entire side for defying all expectations.
Joe Burrow knows how to throw a strike
As it turns out, along with being a fantastic footballer, Burrow is quite good at baseball as well. Recently, the Bengals QB threw the first pitch at the Reds’ Opening Day encounter and as expected, it was a strike right down the middle.
Joe was actually a guest at the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati on Tuesday. He was spotted hanging out with Joey Votto and other stars as well before the Reds’ versus Cleveland Guardians matchup went underway.
Joe has been simply superb in the recent past. The Bengals defied all expectations last season and if they are looking to go the distance this time around then Joe Burrow needs to lead from the front once again. It will be interesting to see how he performs this season while carrying the extra pressure of expectations.
